"And was Jerusalem builded here,
Among these dark Satanic Mills?"
William Blake's words set the scene much better than we can. The Jerusalem sock is inspired by the pilgrimage made by Manchester factory workers from mills to hills, joining together in an acts of civil disobedience to escape the thuds of the industrial revolution.
Hats, Packs, and Socks, handmade in england
Our products are built to withstand the age old pilgrimage from industrial towns to rolling hills, looking every bit the part in both - whether we choose to lose ourselves in a warehouse to the thump of a drum machine, or in the deep green swathe of a valley.
The view towards Kinder Reservoir is possible for us to enjoy because of the Mass Trespass of 1932. It inspired us to produce a range named after the places we are now free to ramble, celebrating the efforts of our forefathers.
